I am in a pretty same position, and more:
I have sent my first three installments to DHA in their designated account via electronic transfer (as you must appreciate that this is the most effective and economical manner to send funds from here in the UK) Today I received a reminder showing that my installment 2 and 3 are outstanding, along with a surcharge of $24.99. Now this is outrageous.
DHA has never sent me an acknowledgement, what comes in the way is a reminder, that seems to be sent by foot,,. this letter that I got was written on the 2nd of June, yet reaches me today on the 27th of July (and this is through a courier !!)
My address is spelt wrong in more than one way, the only reason I get my mail is because of the correct post code, have tried emailing them with corrections resulting in nothing.
I have tried calling them several times, but no one seems to respond. Once I did get some one on the line, who hung up on me after keeping me waiting for some ten minutes, despite me telling him that I was calling from overseas.
I would like to know if there are other people who are going through the same, and what if, there is a better way to contact them. Is there a better way to make the payments (other than electronic transfers)
How is the progress on the development, the letter I got today says that the DHA Expressway construction has been inaugurated and good progress is being made, any other updates ?
